NERVO präsentieren ihre neue Single “Sober”

Von Songwritern zu Künstlern und Superfans zu Superstars: Als erstes Electronic Dance Schwesternpaar haben Mim Nervo und Liv Nervo einen außergewöhnlichen Aufstieg auf die internationale Bühne geschafft. Am 3. Mai veröffentlichen sie ihre neue Single „Sober“.
Das Duo erklärt: „We wanted to make a record that worked on the dance floor for the summer but also had some lyrical substance. We’ve all had those SOBERing moments when you realize a relationship isn’t what you thought it was and this is what this song is about. It’s a melancholy summer song. Hopefully people will be able to relate while having a dance at the same time.”
Mim und Livs Karriere startete 2009, als sie beim Songwriting des emphatischen und großen Welthits „When Love Takes Over“ für David Guetta und Kelly Rowland mitwirken durften. Aber ihre Reise in die Dance Music begann Jahre zuvor auf Festivals in ihrem Heimatland Australien, als sie sich schon als Teenager lebensverändernden electronic Acts wie The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx und Fatboy Slim zuwandten.
Kürzlich hat NERVO den viralen Hit „Best Friend“ veröffentlicht, der zum offiziellen iPhone X Kampagnenstartsong geworden ist, Platz 1 im Radio und iTunes erreicht hat, über 30 Millionen Views auf YouTube und über 60 Millionen Streams auf Spotify zählt.
Freunde und Kollaboratoren aus der ganzen Welt kamen, um sie zu unterstützen. „We’re All No One“ mit Afrojack und Steve Aoki (Nr. 8 in der Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs Chart), „The Way We See The World“ mit Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas und Like Mike (die offizielle Hymne von Tomorrowland 2011, die über 45 Millionen YouTube Views zählt), „The Other Boys“ mit Kylie Minogue und Jake Shears (Sissor Sisters) oder „Like Home“ mit Nicky Romero: Ihre Liste an A-Listen-Kollaboratoren ist die längste und beneidenswerteste der Dance Music und in einer von Bros dominierten Welt, ein ganz schöner Sister-Act!
