Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Inventions neues Album “Live At The Whisky A Go Go 1968” ist nach der wilden fünfstündigen Show im legendären L.A.-Lokal “Whisky A Go Go“ benannt. Am 23. Juli 1968 übernahmen Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention das Whisky a Go Go für eine ganztägige Veranstaltung. Obwohl Zappa im Laufe der Jahre immer wieder Teile der Show veröffentlichte, kam es seit 55 Jahren nie zu einem kompletten Live-Album.

Alle drei Sets von The Mothers sind nun mit brandneuen 2023-Mixen in einer Super Deluxe Edition mit fast fünf Stunden an unveröffentlichten Live-Performances erhältlich. Außerdem enthalten sind Texte von Joe Travers, Pamela Des Barres und ein Interview von Ahmet Zappa mit Alice Cooper.
