Max Richter über Sleep: “SLEEP ist ein achtstündiges Wiegenlied. Dieser Wirbelwind des Lebens – so schnell, so wenig Zeit. Wenn ich meine Kinder anschaue, frage ich mich, wo sie Ruhe finden sollen. Diese Momente des Lebens, die sie als winzige Babys hatten, mit ausgestreckten Armen, voll Vertrauen in die Welt. Ich wollte schon lange etwas schreiben, das ihnen Ruhe schenken könnte. Dies ist also mein persönliches Wiegenlied für eine hektische Welt – ein Manifest für eine langsamere Gangart des Lebens.”
