It’s all in the family, isn’t it? The twin-force pop-sensation Marcus & Martinus have created an avalanche of success and are riding this wave with, grace and an impressive string of single hits that is nowhere near seeing an end. Bear in mind, they have just turned 20!

Each of their three albums have reached the pole position in their Norwegian homecountry and its neighbours, gold- and platinum awards decorate their walls, they performed at the Nobel peace price ceremony, toured with Jason Derulo… the list of Marcus & Martinus’ accomplishments could fill a book alone. They have racked up 600 Million+ streams on Spotify alone, cater to over 4 million TikTok-followers and on YouTube their streams are chasing the 2 billion mark! As of 2020, they signed with Universal Music, a move that will definitely put their career into hypergear.

Here they have teamed up with Innsbruck-based DJ/producer Medun, whose astonishing career is equally baffling as theirs. He has shared the stage with what reads as the who-is-who of the international EDM & Dancemusic scene: Robin Schulz, David Guetta, Fedde LeGrand, Nicky Romero…

The result of this collaboration is beyond fruitful and to an extent even an oldschool funk-driven club banger. Wait, what? Oldschool funk? Yes, most certainly.

„Gimme your love“ is driven by a pulsating bass-line that carries a charming vintage vibe in the tradition of classic outfits like Sly & the Family Stone or Earth, Wind & Fire or modern funksters like Bruno Mars. Clocking in at just under three minutes it fits mainstream radio like a glove, only that this glove is probably diamond-studded, just like Michael’s.

All joking aside, „Gimme your love“ offers a hook that pierces directly into the ears and stays there. A single of this caliber is most likely to become yet another hit in their ever-growing repertoire.

Medun himself has little doubt about this too and he is entitled to feel that way:
